About Me

Let's get social

Growing up in Nepal, with the Himalayas as my backdrop and a family motorcycle dealership as my first (unofficial) business classroom, I learned early that perspective is everything. That curiosity has propelled me from Kathmandu to St. Paul, Minnesota, and even to London for a taste of global finance. Now a junior at the University of St. Thomas, I'm double majoring in Finance and Data Analytics because uncovering the stories hidden in numbers and understanding how they drive markets is my kind of puzzle.

What started as watching my family navigate business decisions has evolved into quantitative research, analyzing EV infrastructure patterns, and facilitating VR simulations for educational impact. My fascination with AI, startups, and emerging technologies keeps me constantly exploring how innovation can reshape finance and create new opportunities.

When I'm not deep in spreadsheets or code, I'm either solo traveling across new countries, watching Formula 1 and Premier League games, or trying not to burn dinner in the kitchen. I've bungee jumped off a 750-foot bridge, but I've also walked an 80-year-old through how to send her first email. Both were equally rewarding.

From being the first international student elected as First-Year Class President at my university to managing VR labs and hosting business camps back home in Nepal, I've discovered that the best opportunities often come disguised as challenges. I thrive in high-stakes, high-noise environments where good decisions aren't obvious, which is probably why I'm drawn to trading, quantitative finance, and the startup world.

Currently seeking the next puzzle to solve, preferably one that involves data, markets, and maybe a visa sponsor or two.
